Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says (Translation): And whosoever strives hard (in Allah's cause), does so only for his own good; for, verily! Allah does not stand
in need of anything in all the worlds. (Al-'Ankabut 29: 6)

Enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil
Hadith: Hudhaifah ibn Yaman Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: By Him, in Whose Hand is my life, undoubtedly you must enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil or else Allah will certainty send upon you a Punishment; then you will supplicate to him and He will not accept it. (Tirmidhi: 2169)
